Storms In Your Life?

Matthew 7:24  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Matthew 7:25  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Matthew 7:26  And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Matthew 7:27  And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Storms In Your Life? Do not worry. Do you think that the men and woman of God in the Bible were exempt from trials and tribulations? Actually they went through a lot. When the storms blow in, just make sure that you are founded on the rock. The rock is Jesus. You have to be strong in his word. You have to listen to what God says and DO WHAT GOD SAYS. It's one thing to hear it, but it's another to actually do them.

The scripture above from Matthew 7:24 speaks of the wise man that built his house upon the rock. And the when the floods came in, it did not wash the house away. The foolish man built his house upon the sand, which was not God, and when the floods came in, it knocked his home down. It may seem like you are going through the worst time of your life at this moment. It may seem like the storm is coming against your home so bad, but stay strong. Stay on the rock. Listen and DO what God says, and your home will not come tumbling down. God will make a plan of escape. He will carry forth a plan that he has for you or your family if you just hang on.

Do not cease to pray. Storms are part of it. Storms outside will come, but you have to make sure you are planted on the right thing. You can't do what you want, and live how you want, and expect a good result. God IS A GOD OF POWER. There is nothing he can not do. Ask and ye shall receive. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and it shall be opened unto you. Sometimes, God say's wait. Sometimes, God say's No. God has the most awesome plan for your life. Just allow him to help you and trust him and he will show you his purpose.

Your family might be going through something so painful at the moment and it seems like there is no end to the struggle, but lift up your head. God is God. He is a God that can restore. He is a God that can heal. But he is also a God of Judgement and of Chastisement. He will remove things from your life to protect, as well. Perhaps your situation is not the work of the devil, but the work of God Almighty protecting you from something later on down the road. He might remove something from you if it was going to bring harm. He will always do what is right for you. God works from the spiritual side of things, not the flesh side of things. He sees the hearts of all involved. I know it's hard, but just trust him. Have faith. If you are abiding in God and his word then don't worry about it. Let go of the fear. Let JESUS WORK! He has got this thing....

Scriptures for reference

Hebrews 12:6  For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

Joel 2:25  And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten...

Psalms 37:28  For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

John 15:7  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

James 4:3  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

This STORM you are encountering will blow over and come to an end. The floods will subside and the rain will be removed. The sun will shine upon your house once again, and you will see that God never left you, but was there the whole time. He loves you...Stay firm in God's word.  Don't be scared of the storm. It's going to pass.....
