Did you know that your words have power? The Bible says that we have power in our words. You better be careful what you say about others or how you talk to them. You have the ability to bless or curse people with your words. Jesus showed the disciples what cursing a fig tree would do. He cursed the tree then when they came back it was withered.
Jesus did this to show that our words can damage things on earth. You have the ability to say something about someone and say horriable things about them and you are actually cursing them. To curse something is not always bad words. It is just speaking mean things against others or anything for that matter. Be careful what you say. It will have an effect on people. Our words go out and accomplish things. Choose your words wisely.
(Proverbs 18:21)- Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
(Mark 11:20) And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.(Mark 11:21) And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
