Pray Without Ceasing Pumpkin Cupcakes
1 Th 5:17- Pray without ceasing.
  • Candy Corn
  • Pumpkin Candy Corn
  • Colored Picks (to tape template to and stick down in cupcake)
  • Tape
  • Laminator
  • Pumpkin Template
  • Decorative Cutting Scissors (For cutting a neat design when cutting pumpkin template out)
  • Cupcakes
  • Frosting

Bake and ice your cupcakes. I used chocolate. Then add 1 candy corn pumpkin in the middle of the cupcake. Then add 4 small candy corn around the pumpkin. Print the pumpkin template out and laminate. Use scissors that cut with a design or you can just use regular scissors if you don't have any. Tape a colored pick to the back. You could also use toothpicks or popsicle sticks. Stick down in the cupcake.

Take these for a Fall festival at your Church or make them up for fun just for the kids!

Feeding On The Word Of God Game

This is a "Feeding On The Word Of God" Game. I used a black display board and hot glued acorns and leaves to the board. I had a small scarecrow and hot glued that to the back of the board. I hot glued orange and yellow flowers to the board too. I added some store bought spiral twigs to each side and hot glued those together. I twisted a bread tie on those keep it secure. I found an old square picture frame made of cardboard and hot glued that to the middle of the board. I took some scissors and cut out the middle of where I glued the frame. This is for the bible game pieces to be tossed into. I printed the template of the 3 Bible's and laminated those and hot glued a clothes pin to the back to add some weight to it for tossing.

I printed two 8.5 X 11 large crows out and laminated them. I hot glued those in the middle of the board. I printed the other crow template that has 4 crows on it on sticker paper and cut those out and stuck them at the top on each side of the display board. I then printed out the scripture template and taped that on the board.

I made some Bibles that I glued to the board that were just jello boxes that I wrapped like a christmas present with white printing paper and taped it. I drew lines at the top, bottom and right side to look like pages of a book. I drew on the left side a bookmark. I just hot glued that on to the display board.

Paper Mache Pumpkin For Fall Festival Party

Paper Mache Pumpkin For Fall Festival Party

Supplies
  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • Balloons
  • Newspaper
  • Pin or needle
  • toilet paper holder
  • Green tissue
  • Orange paint or orange tissue
  • Scissors
Directions
1.    Cover your work area with newspaper or a plastic tablecloth.
2.    Make the paper Mache solution by stirring together the flour, salt and water until it is smooth.  A whisk is helpful, but do not use an electric mixer as this will cause too much air to be in the mixture.
3.    Blow up a balloon to the size you want your pumpkin to be.  Knot the end of the balloon.
4.    Tear up newspaper into thin strips. Dip each strip into the paper-mâché mixture.  Run your fingers along each strip to remove any excess. Apply your strips back and forth in both directions so they overlap. Leave the knotted end of the balloon uncovered.  If two people are working together, one can dip and the other place the strips.
5.    Cover the balloon until you have about four layers of paper.  Run a few extra strips vertically to make the lines of a pumpkin.  Let it dry for a day or two.
6.    When  the paper is dried, use a pin or needle to pop the balloon.  Cut a hole at the top just large enough for a toilet paper holder to fit into it.
7.    Spray paint the form with orange paint or cover by gluing on strips of orange tissue dipped in paper Mache mixture.
8.    Cover the toilet paper holder with green tissue paper and insert into the top opening to make the stem.
9.    Optional:  Drop candy into the pumpkin through the top of the stem.  Kids can shake the pumpkin to see what candy they can get out.  As a last resort, break the pumpkin to let all the candy spill out.

Deer "Jesus Saves" Lunch Bag Template

Deer "Jesus Saves" Lunch Bag Template
Just print the template and cut both templates out. Fold on line and fold it over the brown lunch bag and staple. I used regular printing paper but you could use card stock or laminate if you want it to hold up better.

Deer "Jesus Saves" Candy Bar Template
Just print the templates out and cut them out. The circle template is for the Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and the other is for the Snickers Candy Bar. Just tape these on. Hand out to kids at church or put them in a snack bag.

Bible Picture Scriptures

Here are just a few of my cartoons that I have personally hand drawn on my computer. Just click on the cartoon to bring up a larger version so you can read the words. I wish I had all of my bible cartoon pictures here in one place but I don't. They are scattered all over the different websites that I have and some are on facebook. I guess I need to get better organized and put them all in one spot. :)
