Paper Plate Christmas Tree Craft
Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
We celebrate Christmas because Jesus was born into this world and died for our sins so we could be forgiven. Through the blood of Jesus he made a way for salvation through him. He paid that price for us and we should be thankful for what he did.
To make this Christmas tree paper plate craft all you need is:
Elmer's Glue
Green Food Coloring
Men's White Shaving Cream
1 Paper Plate
Tape or Stapler
Glitter
Decorations like little silver stars or a star punch
First you want to take your paper plate and shape it into a cone shape so it will look like a Christmas tree. You need to cut a slit in it so you can twist it into a cone. Then you want to tape or staple the paper plate so it will hold. Then mix the shaving cream, Elmers glue and green food coloring together to make a paste. Have the child cover the paper plate in green. When this stuff dries it will puff up. You can either wait till the tree dries or you add the glitter and stars to the wet paint.
Let the kids add a star at the top of the tree by making a little yellow star covered in glitter and tape it to a toothpick and stick it down in the top of the paper plate.
