Here is a free printable Kite Craft I made for kids to cut out and piece together. I made three different templates to pick from. The colored kite has words already printed on it. The second colored template is blank to write your own and the third template is not colored and blank for the kids to fill in what they want.
Just have the kids cut all 9 pieces out and tape them together. You could also use yarn as the kite string and tape the pieces to the yarn.
