Easter Egg With Bible Snacks For Sunday School

 Easter Egg With Bible Snack
For Kids In Sunday School

Supplies:

  • Plastic Easter Eggs
  • Very Small Plastic Cups - Package of 150 cups 3 fl oz (88 ml)
  • Colored Pipe Cleaners
  • Sticker Eyeballs
  • Cereal- (I Used Fruity Pebbles)
  • Small Paper Umbrellas
  • Brown Construction Paper
  • Black Sharpie Marker
  • Tape
Figure out how many children you have in class and fill your small white cups up with cereal. Every child will get one. I had fruity pebbles on hand so I decided to go with that because it was bright and colorful. You could use fruit loops or something else.

Take your colored plastic egg and add some sticker eyes to the egg. Take one pipe cleaner and fold it in half and cut it. Then fold one of the pieces in half again and cut. Now use those for the legs. There are two holes on the bottom and top of every plastic egg. Stick the pipe cleaner in the bottom of the plastic egg and bend the wire to make it look like a foot. Stick the other pipe cleaner in the other hole and do the same. Now you should have two pipe cleaner feet stuck in the bottom of the plastic Easter egg.

Now, on the top of the egg you will see holes. Pick a hole and stick the paper umbrella down in one of the holes. Cut a small square piece of brown construction paper and using the black sharpie marker write the word, "BIBLE" on it. Stick some tape to the back of the Bible and stick to the side of the plastic egg like he is carrying his Bible. Lay the plastic Easter egg on top of the cup like he is all kicked back and relaxing in the sun with his umbrella and bible.

Use this snack to go along with our matching bible lesson, "Easter Egg Bible Sunday School Lesson". We have matching materials to go with this like a coloring page, maze, activity sheets and more.
