 This is a printable sheet of The 10 Plagues of Egypt Gnat Word In A Word. Have the kids see how many words they can make out the word : PLAGUE OF GNATS. This is a really great activity to keep your kids entertained. If you have extra time at the end of class this would be great to hand out. Teach the kids about the The 10 Plagues and how the Gnats or Lice are the 3rd plague that the Lord sent. We have other printable sheets to go along with this plague.

The 10 Plagues of Egypt Frog Craft

 
 The 10 Plagues of Egypt Frog Craft

(Exodus 8:5)  And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

• 3 Paper Plates
• 2 Green Pipe Cleaners
• Hole Punch
• Scissors
• Crayons- Black (eyes) Green (body) Red (tongue)

Take 1 paper plate and fold in half and staple. Color it green.
Take 2nd paper plate and cut a triangle out. Color green half way.
Take 3rd paper plate and color it all green. Add two holes in sides. Stick green pipe cleaners in for arms. Then staple folded half plate to the triangle cut plate.  This makes his head. Then staple his head to his body. Add black eyes with black crayon and tongue with red crayon. Add two lines for nose.

Exodus 8:5-And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

• Angel Food Cake  (or regular cupcakes)
• Cupcake Wrapper
• Toothpick
• Frog Template (printable version)
• Tape
• Scissors
• Frosting
• Green sprinkles

This may look a little sloppy, but I couldn't get a piece of angel food cake cut out in a perfect piece.
I don't think the kids at church mind anyways.
You can always use regular baked cupcakes for perfect fluffy round cupcakes! lol

 Cut a small piece of the angel food cake out and place in the cupcake wrapper. Smear frosting on top. Sprinkle green sprinkles on top. Print the frog template out. Cut it out and tape to a toothpick. Stick that in the cupcake.  This may look a little sloppy but you really can't cut a piece of angel food cake out that fits down perfect in the cupcake wrapper. I don't think the kids at church mind anyways.

The 10 Plagues of Egypt- Water To Blood -Show & Tell Demonstration

 Show and Tell Demonstration for The 10 Plagues of Egypt-Water To Blood

• 2 Small Baby Food Jars
• Water
• Red and Blue Food Coloring

This is going to be the easiest demonstration ever! This is just to get a point across to the kids on the water turning to blood. This will probable only be interesting to the smaller kids in your group. The older ones may not be impressed. haha 
Take your two jars and fill them both up with water. Begin to walk the kids through the story of the water turning to blood. Color the water blue in one jar and tell them how this is the pretty water before the plague happened. Then when you get to the part where Aaron is placing the rod upon the waters to turn it into blood color the other jar red.
(Exo 7:17)  Thus saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

(Exo 7:18)  And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river.

(Exo 7:19)  And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.

(Exo 7:20)  And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.

(Exo 7:21)  And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.

(Exo 7:22)  And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said.

(Exo 7:23)  And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he set his heart to this also.

(Exo 7:24)  And all the Egyptians digged round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river.

(Exo 7:25)  And seven days were fulfilled, after that the LORD had smitten the river.

Craft

• Paper Plate
• Red and Blue Crayon
• Stapler
• Tape
• Large Craft Sticks
• Scissors
• Fish Template (printable version)

Take your paper plate and color just half of it blue and red. This represents the water turning to blood. Then fold your paper plate in half. Put three staples in that are all spaced pretty far apart. Print your fish template out. Tape your fish to the crafts stick. Stick your fish down into the paper plate. You do not have to use all three fish. You can just use one. So your child will only need one fish and 1 craft stick. You can adjust the staples however you need them to get your one fish to stand up. Teach the kids about the Lesson on The 10 Plagues of Egypt Water Turning To Blood.

 This may not be for the fainthearted. I do realize that some teachers will think this is gross. However, the children won't. This is just my observation from kids that drop things in the floor and then pick it up, and eat it again with who knows what stuck to it. Kids will eat anything sometimes. I do mean anything! haha  This will actually taste good believe or not! :)
You need:

• Chocolate or Plain Angel Food Cake (we used choc.)
• Cupcake Wrapper
• Frosting (any kind)
• Toothpick
• Tape
• Fish Template (printable version)

Cut a small piece of angel food cake out and put in your cupcake wrapper. Smear some frosting on top. Sprinkle some red sugar crystals on top. (You can use red food coloring in your frosting if you don't want to use sprinkles. I picked the quick method, and did sprinkles) Print the fish template out and tape it to a toothpick. Stick in cupcake. Now your done!

This lesson is over the first plague that God sent.  He sent Moses and Aaron to perform this task. Aaron held the rod out of over the water and God turned the water into blood.

We have the whole set of the The 10 Plagues of Egypt Coloring Pages.  This one pictured to the left is the Plague of Darkness in Exodus 10:21. The people are standing in the dark scared. Some are crying. We have a coloring page for each listed plague in the bible. Print these off for your Sunday school class or Children's Church. You can do a lesson on The 10 Plagues of Egypt but bust it up into 10 separate lessons. You can teach about the the water to blood on one Sunday and have them do activity's and crafts that pertain just to that. Then the next Sunday do one on Frogs. Have them make frogs crafts and do activity's that pertain to that. And so on and so forth. The kids are sure to remember the 10 Plagues of Egypt once you complete this lesson. This should take 10 Sunday's to complete.
