Christmas Candy Cane Gingerbread Gumdrop Blue Cake

• Spice Drops
• White Cake Mix- 2 boxes
• White Frosting
• Blue Food Coloring
• Gingerbread Cookies In A Package
• Candy Canes
• Piping Bag and Tip
• Fork - to run lines in the icing
• Two Small round cake pans
  

I made a fun Christmas cake for our church dinner. I made 4 small round cakes and stacked them on top of each other. I iced it in blue icing and then I took a fork and run it through the icing around the cake to make lines in the cake. I added some white frosting to a decorating bag and piped some swirls on the top and around the middle and bottom. I stuck some gum drops (spice drops) in the swirls. I added some gingerbread cookies (already made in a bag) and placed those around the cake in the middle and on the bottom. I added a gingerbread cookie to the top along with some candy canes stuck down in the top of the cake. I left the wrapper on the candy canes because I didn't want the color of the red to bleed into the cake.

Not my best work in the world but hey it works.

Just pick which coloring page you want and print out. Make sure you scale it right before you print it out. Click on picture and then right click your mouse button. Click VIEW IMAGE. Then click on FILE from your own computer in the top left hand corner and click PRINT PREVIEW. Make sure it looks right. Scale the image if you need to. Then PRINT.

Three Wise Men Toilet Paper Roll Craft For Kids

Template- Printable Version

Make sure this looks right before you print it out. You might need to scale the picture depending on what kind of printer and computer you have.

Three Wise Men 

Toilet Paper Roll Craft

• Cardboard Tube Rolls (You can buy them from Oriental Trading)
• Tape
• Scissors
• Template- printable version

Just print the template out and let the kids cut all the pictures out. Have them wrap the square sand background around the toilet paper roll tube and tape in the back. Then have them tape all three wise men to the front. Add the star and words at the top like you see in the picture above.

All toilet paper roll tubes are different sizes. If you order the cardboard tube rolls from Oriental Trading then the template will fit like you see at the top. It won't cover the length completely. If you use a regular toilet paper roll that you bought from the store then it might be to fat and not go all the way around but will fit long ways. It is very hard to make templates to fit all the tissue rolls in the world so please forgive me for not getting it perfect. It doesn't really matter anyways. The kids usually throw these in the trash. It's the point of getting a story across to the children when teaching and using crafts. You could always have them trim the tube if it bothers them.
