For Ten Commandments

Exodus 20:16  Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Supplies:

Very small plastic cups
Lies Template- printable version
Cereal- any kind (I used Captain Crunch Berries)
Decorative Cutting Scissors or Plain Scissors

Just print the Lies Template out and cut each little picture out. I used decorative cutting scissors as you can see in the picture but you don't have to. Just tape the tiny picture onto a very small plastic cup. I got my cups from walmart. Just fill with cereal and hand out to the kids. Use this snack when teaching on the 9th commandment of the Ten Commandments. This snack idea goes with our matching lesson plan that we offer, "Thou Shalt Not Lie Sunday School Lesson".

This is a snack idea for the 7th commandment of the 10 commandments. I printed my template off that has wedding rings on it and cut them all out and stapled it to some Debbie Cakes. We had Tulip flowers so we went with that. It could stand for wedding flowers. I would have preferred to use those ring pops and handed those out, but I didn't think of it until it was too late. Those are suckers that look like rings and you wear then on your fingers. I am sure you know what those are though. You could always make wedding ring cakes, cupcakes or cookies. Just look up ideas online and see what you can find. There is so many cool ideas out there that you can do.

This is the 8th commandment for the 10 commandments. Just print the template out below and cut the pictures out and staple to a Debbie cake. I used oatmeal cream pies. If you would rather bake something you could always bake a cake that is in the shape of a money bag. Do a search online and look up money bag cakes or cookies. You could also do chocolate money coins and put them in a cut out piece of burlap that is tied with some yarn. You could also do money cakes or money cookies that look like dollar bills. You could do lot's of different snacks for this one. I actually saw some really cute Money Bag cake pops online but I was really not up for it making those. lol..

Print the template out and cut the pictures out. Staple onto a ziplock bag filled with treats. I used colored goldfish crackers. This snack goes with the 5th commandment of the 10 commandments.

I had a little trouble trying to come up with a snack that went with this commandment. I didn't want to over do it and make it really gross or anything. So I decided to go with a template and just staple that onto a donut stick. You might be wondering what a donut stick has anything to do with it...well actually nothing. My son said it looked like a coffin. However that was not what I was going for. I just stapled it to the snack because I couldn't find anything else. 

Just print the free "Thou Shalt Not Murder" Template out and cut them out. And staple to whatever you want and hand out to the kids in the class. I am still breaking the Ten Commandments down and am really behind on uploading it but it will get done...so don't worry. lol

Thou Shalt Have No Other Gods Before Me Snack Treat Bag For Kids

Here is an idea for a snack for the Ten Commandments for the first commandment "Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Exodus 20:3"

When you are teaching the kids the ten commandments try making the kids a snack with this fold over template I made. Just print the template and cut it out and fold over a snack filled ziplock bag.

I just filled the bag with Cheetos. You could use chips, cereal, or something else.

10 Commandments "Thou Shalt Not Make Unto Yourself A Graven Image" Cupcakes

I made these 10 commandments "Thou Shalt Not Make Unto Yourself A Graven Image" cupcakes. You can make these for your Sunday school class or children's church class by just printing the free template of the golden calf. Then just cut the pictures out and laminate if you want. Tape a toothpick to the back and stick down in cupcake.

I made yellow frosting to go on top. This snack goes along with the 10 commandments. This is the 2nd commandment.

Trying to come up with a snack for the first commandment was pretty tough. I just made the printable template that you see up above and printed it out. I sat and starred at the template after I cut them out and thought now what can I do with these... I went into the kitchen and saw my bowl of cutie oranges and thought hum...I wonder... So I took one of the templates and folded the template into a circle and taped the inside. Then I sat the little template on top of the "cuties" orange like a small hat. 

Then I added some google eyes by taping those on. I wanted my sticker eyeballs, but while digging through my pile of craft junk with no luck, I realized my sticker eyeballs were at church in my cabinet.  Sticker eyes would have looked much better in my opinion.

Try making this fun snack for the kids when teaching on the 10 commamdments. This snack is for the first commandment- "1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
