Zacchaeus and Jesus Toilet Paper Roll Craft for Kids in Sunday school or Children's Church

Here is a Zacchaeus And Jesus Toilet Paper Roll Craft for kids in Sunday school or Children's Church. Just pick which template you need below and print it out. If you have time for the kids to color then print the black and white one out. We have a colored template for those who don't have time to color. Have the kids color and cut both pictures out. Tape the square piece with the tree trunk, scripture and Jesus around the cardboard tube and tape in the back. Tape the tree leaves with Zacchaeus poking his head out to the top of the tree trunk. The Bible lesson for Zacchaeus is in Luke 19:1-10.

"Jesus Is My Hero" Butterfly Cut Out Craft For Kids In Sunday School or Children's Church

 Here are two free printable butterfly templates for the kids in Sunday school class or Children's church to cut out. Have them cut the butterfly and words out. Then glue the butterfly and the words, "Jesus Is My Hero" onto a large piece of colored construction paper. Add glitter to the wings if you want. The templates come in colored and black and white.

ABC's "Who Is Jesus?" White Binder With Clear Front Pocket Template (Leopard ABC"S)

ABC's "Who Is Jesus? " White Binder With Clear Front Pocket Template I made three letters, "A", "B", and "C" into  printable leopard templates so you can put it in a three ring white binder that has a clear pocket in the front. Each child in Sunday school class will get a binder with a clear pocket in the front to slide any piece of paper or artwork they want in it. Just print these off for the kids and cut them out using decorative cutting scissors. I then added a piece of colored construction paper behind the cut out leopard letter and slide down into the front of the binder. You can fill the notebook with lots of different things. They can add their own stuff that you had them draw or you can fill the binder with print outs of quizzes, bible trivia, or just whatever you want to put in there.  You could even do prayer request sheets or lessons. I have three different printable prayer request sheets below that tie in with the leopard theme for the binder. When the binder is full let the kids take them home. You could even personalize the letters with their names on them. Just open the printable leopard template up in your paint program on your computer and type their name. During classtime if your children are old enough to write answers down then you could do a bible trivia and ask them to write their answers down. Then after they are done you could take the binders up and grade them and give the child a scratch and sniff sticker on their paper. Then the next time they open their binders up they will see what they got and find the sticker.

Jesus Is The Anchor Of My Soul Craft

Hebrews 6:19  Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

• Anchor Template- printable version
• Card Stock
• Gray Crayon
• 8 Paper strips ½ “ x 4”
• Tape

Print this anchor pattern on cardstock. Cut out the anchor and color it gray. Make a chain from the paper strips by taping them together. Leave one strip to attach the chain to the anchor.  

For very young children, you might want to have the anchors already cut.

If you have several students, you could use these for a mobile or as part of a bulletin board.

Jesus Beard Craft 

Isaiah 50:6  I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

Matthew 26:67  Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

 Jesus was beaten, spit on, hit in the face, his beard was plucked, and eventually was put to death. This was all done for a reason. It was prophesied that he would come into the world and die for our sins. He made a way for us so we could be forgiven. Let's not forget what Jesus went through for us so we could go free....

• Construction paper (brown or black)
• Stick glue
• Scissors
• Hole-punch
• String

Fold a sheet of construction paper in half horizontally. (hamburger fold)  Draw a month so it is centered two inches from the short edge and and 1.5 inches from the long edges. (See picture)  Stack the two sheets together and cut through both layers to cut out the mouth.  Glue the two sheets together by running the glue stick just at the edges of the mouth.  At this point you can choose to round off the edges.   Use the hole-punch to make holes on both sides of the mouth. Cut strips from the top and bottom so they come to about one half inch of the mouth.  

Using the flat edge of the scissors, curl the strips the way as you would curl ribbon. Do this part carefully so you do not accidentally tear off some of the strips.  (Don’t ask me how I know.)    Bend the top curls down to make the mustache.

Tie strings in the holes.  Place the strings over the top of the child’s ears and tie in the back.

Resurrection of Jesus Cut Out Craft For Kids For Sunday School- Crown Of Thorns, Tomb, Heaven

Print the cut out sheet out and let the kids color the pictures. Have them cut them out and glue down on colored construction paper. Teach the kids the story behind the Resurrection of Jesus.I added scriptures to go with pictures so you can read the verses to the kids. Teach the kids about Jesus dying on the cross and how he was laid in the tomb and rose from the dead on the third day and how he went up to heaven to prepare a place for them.

Fold a basic paper plate in half.  Draw a tab about half an inch wide and half an inch long from the center.  Draw or trace a circle above the tab.  (See picture)  Cut it out and decorate.  We wrote celebrate Jesus on ours.  You can get as creative as you want to on this and even change the circle to another shape such as a flower or a heart.

When you are done decorating, fold the paper plate half like a cone so the bottom edges overlap but line up evenly along the bottom.  Staple this in place.  Punch holes with the hole punch on the left and right sides of the hat.  Tie elastic cord in the holes to keep the hat in place. 

Wear the hats to celebrate having Jesus in our lives.
