Valentine's Day Heart Card Craft

"Jesus Lives In My Heart"

Supplies:

• Heart Template- printable version
• Crayons or Markers
• 1 Large Red Construction Paper
• 1 Large Pink Construction Paper
• Black Pen
• Decorative Cutting Scissors
• Regular Scissors
• Tape or Glue

Heart Template- printable version

Print the heart template out and have the kids color the picture. Then have them cut it out. Take your red construction paper and fold in half to make your card. Then tape or glue the heart man on to the front of the card. 

 Now open the inside of the card and use your decorative cutting scissors to cut out two small squares out of the pink construction paper to tape or glue to the inside of the card on both sides.

 Have the child use the black pen and write this scripture "Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." on the left of the card on the pink construction paper. 

Cut two small hearts out of the pink construction paper and glue or tape that on each side of the card like you see in the pictures. Write the word "JESUS" on both hearts.

On the right side of the card have the child draw a picture of themselves and have them write the words, "I'm Saved By The Blood Of Jesus". Have them draw some grass on the picture.

Jesus Lives In My Heart Craft

Just print this "Jesus Lives In My Heart" sheet out and have the kids cut the picture out and glue down on construction paper. Have them color and cut the heart out and glue to the body. Have them color the body and background as well.

You could also have them use a glue stick and add some glue around the edge of the heart and then let them sprinkle some glitter on it.
