Pick which template you want and print it out on cardstock. I made a black and white version for the kids to color and I also made a colored version for those that don't want to color it. 

Just have the child cut all the pieces out:
Head
Body
Ears
Tail
Mouth
Whiskers
Nose
Eyes

You can either use stick glue or tape to piece the bunny rabbit together. To make the ears: Just cut a slit down the heart.

Here is a free printable Valentine's Day Dog Cutout craft for small kids. Just print out the dog coloring page and let them color the picture and then cut it out. Make sure you print it on card stock so it will hold up better.

Use this for Sunday school or Children's Church. I also made a template with NO WORDS so the kids can write what they want on the heart. Have the color the bear first and then cut all the pieces out. Then assemble the bear together using tape. This is a really simple easy craft for kids to do!

This is a "JESUS IS PURR-FECT!" Kitty Cat craft for kids to cut out and assemble. Use this for Valentine's Day in Sunday school or children's church. I made two different templates. Valentine's Day Heart Card Craft

"Jesus Lives In My Heart"

Supplies:

• Heart Template- printable version
• Crayons or Markers
• 1 Large Red Construction Paper
• 1 Large Pink Construction Paper
• Black Pen
• Decorative Cutting Scissors
• Regular Scissors
• Tape or Glue

Heart Template- printable version

Print the heart template out and have the kids color the picture. Then have them cut it out. Take your red construction paper and fold in half to make your card. Then tape or glue the heart man on to the front of the card. 

 Now open the inside of the card and use your decorative cutting scissors to cut out two small squares out of the pink construction paper to tape or glue to the inside of the card on both sides.

 Have the child use the black pen and write this scripture "Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." on the left of the card on the pink construction paper. 

Cut two small hearts out of the pink construction paper and glue or tape that on each side of the card like you see in the pictures. Write the word "JESUS" on both hearts.

On the right side of the card have the child draw a picture of themselves and have them write the words, "I'm Saved By The Blood Of Jesus". Have them draw some grass on the picture.

Craft foam with peel off backing
Scissors
Larger heart pattern (cut 1)
Smaller heat pattern (cut 2)
Circle pattern (cut 1)
Tissue paper
Pipe stem cleaner
Tape

Trace heart patterns onto the back of craft foam and cut them out.  Peel the backing completely off the smaller hearts.  Leave the backing on the larger heart. Cut a circle for the head.  Peel the bottom half of the backing from the circle.  Attach this to the pointed end of the larger heart.  Place the points of the smaller hearts on the back and to the sides of the larger heart with the sticky side facing upward to make the wings.  (See photo)  Tear the tissue into small pieces and stick them to the top side of the wings to give a feathery look.  Fashion a halo from a pipe stem cleaner and tape it to the back of the head.

These are not your original sweetheart candies. These have something very different about these. They uplift Jesus! His name is covered all over the little pink hearts to add some fun for your next Sunday school class project.

For Valentine's Day try printing out these Sweetheart Candy Cutouts. You can use these however need.  

• You can glue them to outside of envelopes with a Valentine inside.

•  You can tape them to a popsicle stick or toothpicks and stick in cupcakes for "Jesus Sweetheart Cupcakes".

• You can make a Valentine photo frame with the child's picture and glue the little hearts all around the frame.

• You can hole punch a hole in each one and string some yarn through it to make a Jesus sweetheart necklace to wear. You can do them all to make one necklace, if you have just a few kids, or you can do just one heart if you have tons of kids.

Print the Valentine Door Knob Hanger template out. Have the kids cut it out and then take it home and hang it on there bedroom door knob. The scripture on the hanger says, " Jude 1:21- Keep yourselves in the LOVE of God, looking for the mercy of out Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life."

Heart Fan- Valentine's Day Crafts

 Tear a page from an old calendar that has a  scenic picture you like.  Fold the page in half to find the center.  Use a bowl to make an arch at the top of one half.  With the page still folded together, cut out the arch to make the top of a heart.  (See photo) Accordion fold the page to make a fan.  Tie a ribbon toward the bottom to keep it together.  When the fan is open it will have the shape of a heart.  Give the fan to someone you love. 

 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." (John 13:34-35)

Cupcake Paper Roses- Valentine's Day Crafts

Cupcake Paper Roses

(for Valentine's Day Crafts)

Supplies:
*Three cupcake papers
*Chenille stem
*Glue

Flatten and fold three cupcake papers in half.  Trim one about one fourth inch to make it slightly smaller than the others.  Roll the trimmed paper into a cone for the center of the rose.  (See photos) Place a drop of glue toward the bottom. Wrap the second paper with the fold at the bottom around the first so that it is wrapped tightly at the bottom and looser at the top.  Wrap the third folded paper with the fold side to the bottom around the outside.  Fold the edges of the outer paper down to resemble the petals of a rose.  Wrap the chenille stem around the base of the rose to hold everything in place.  Bend the remainder of the chenille stem downward for a stem.

The rose can represent the perfect flower and so, it can used as a symbol for the perfect love Jesus has for us.
