Jello Snacks
This will make a perfect snack for kids in Children's church or Sunday school to go along with the lesson on John 14:2. Just make up some lemon jello and pour into small Mulit-Purpose Mini Cups. After they set up add some edible gold glitter to the top of each one. If you don't have it then you can skip it. These are so convenient because you don't have to worry about anything spilling in the car on the way to Church.
You can use this snack with the John scripture or the Revelation scripture.
John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Black and White Template
Just print the black and white sheet out and have the child color it before they cut it out. Then have them cut the triangle and square out and glue down on construction paper. Have them cut the small jewels out and glue those on the triangle. Then cut the large jewels out and glue those on the square. Cut the sign out and add it next to the mansion. Draw a golden street leading to the house for the streets of gold. Add some glue and sprinkle gold glitter on the pathway. Punch a hole in the construction paper on each side and run some yarn through it to hang their picture up to show off.

Print on regular printing paper and cut on dotted lines. You can laminate them if you want to keep them and use them again some time down the road for something else. Tape a popsicle stick or toothpick to the back of the picture and stick down in the cupcake. You could always use something fancier if you don't want just a plain popsicle stick. If you have colored popsicle sticks you try adding a peel and stick jewel to the front of the popsicle stick or a pretty gold ribbon to each one. You could try using pretty colored straws, food picks, or fancy crystal drink stirrers.
Bake some yellow cupcakes and add yellow frosting to the top. If you wanted you could sprinkle gold dust on top for some pretty shine.
Don't want to do all that? Too much work for you? Well, try this instead. Just bake some cupcakes and and add yellow frosting on top for the streets of gold and then stick one jewel ring pop down in the frosting. You could even find jewel candy in some stores or online and sprinkles those on top instead of using the ring pop. Or you could buy some dum dum pops and stick one of those down in the cupcake for the jewel. If you have edible pearls you could sprinkle those on the top for a pretty look.
Possibilities are endless.

(I did not print this one on card stock. I just used regular printing paper on this one. It will work a lot better if you use card stock. It won't be so flimsy.)

Print the mansion house with jewels out and then print the gold street out. Cut both of them out. Be sure to print on cardstock if you want it to hold up better. If you just have regular printing paper that will work fine, but it won't be as sturdy.
When cutting the house out be sure to tell the child not to cut the gray areas off. Fold where it say's to fold and tape or glue it. I just use tape and it works fine. This will make a standing house. Add your cut out gold street next to your house.
You could make popsicle sticks and make angels out of them to go along with this.

March Wind Sock Craft
Wind Sock With Hair Twigs
Cardboard tube (Toilet paper roll tube)
Plain or colored paper
Markers or crayons
Glue
Crepe paper roll
2 Pipe Cleaners
Goggle Eyes
Hole Punch
Cut a piece
of paper large enough to cover the cardboard tube. Decorate with markers or crayons.
Or you could have them draw a face and add google eyes. Make sure you
hot glue these down. You could use double sided tape or regular tape but
I am not sure how long the eyeballs will stay attached when the wind
starts blowing. Write a Bible verse on the paper. Cut five or six streamers that are 24 inches (60 cm) long from the crepe paper. Glue these inside the toilet paper roll on one end so the streamers all hang out the bottom. They will overlap inside some.
Use a hole punch and add a hole on each side of the toilet paper roll tube. Add a pipe stem cleaner for a handle.Add another pipe cleaner through the same holes and twirl them around your finger to get a curly effect for the hair. Hang the wind sock where that you can watch the direction the wind blows. Bring it inside if there is strong wind or rain.
