Church Harvest Fall Festival Game Ideas 

Throwing a Fall Festival for Church? Well, there is so many games and different things you can do for the kids. Try buying some Christian Pumpkin Totes for candy bags from Oriental Trading These ones in the picture above were purchased there. They are 15"X 15" with 11 1/2" handles. 

 If you are looking for smaller plastic bags then try the Pumpkin Bags that say SHINE WITH THE LIGHT OF JESUS or the Pumpkin Treat Bags.

 Here was the DUCK POND game. We bought a little blow up plastic duck pond pool  and some floating ducks from Oriental Trading and filled the pool with water and floated the ducks in the pond. (You want to make sure that the ducks are weighted because if you buy some other rubber ducky in Oriental Trading it won't float.) These ducks came with either a star or no star on the bottom of the duck. If the kid picked a duck with a star on the bottom they got a sparkle head band with shapes on the top of their choice. 
If they picked a duck with no star then they got their choice of a balloon or an neon animal print hat.  I don't know why I didn't think of putting a Christian Pumpkin Tablecloth down but it would have looked a lot better.

I took a pink piece of paper and just drew a duck in a pool with the words up above it that said: 

"DUCK WITH A STAR*-Pick A Hat or Balloon"

"DUCK WITH NO STAR- Sparkle Headbands"

And I taped it on the table right next to the Duck Pond Pool so the kids could read it.

 Duck Pond Game was so much fun for the kids! They loved this. 

Sorry for the blurred picture. This was the Candy Corn Bowling game that was set up for the kids to play. To play the game, just tape some white tape to the floor and have the kids get in a line behind it and then let them roll the ball into the candy corns to see if they can knock them all down. 

Bean Bag Toss Game. The object of the game is to throw the beans bags into the holes. There was a table full of prizes that the kids got to pick from. I didn't get a picture of it. sorry....

 Here is the Carnival Can Bean Bag Toss Game. The kids got in two lines and then got three shots to try to knock the cans down. Whoever is running this game...Have fun....cause this will work your legs out having to pick those cans up everytime. lol 

 Here is the SPIN A PRIZE game. The child spins the wheel and if it landed on a RED COLOR then they got to pick out an animal of choice. These were Plush Mini Bean Bag Animal Assortment of 50. And if it landed on a WHITE COLOR then they got to pick from a Glow Necklace or a Blowup Guitar. 

 Here is the DROP DISC GAME. This was an easy game for the kids! We bought prizes like red wax lips, goo-goo eyeglasses, red fuzzy clown noses, stick custom props, mustaches, and glow in the dark lip whistles. The object of the game was to take the small little round disk and drop it in one of the slots. Whatever number it landed on determined your prize.

 The famous Soda Pop Ring Toss Game! This was always my favorite. The kids would take turns trying to get the ring around the top of the soda lid. Whichever soda they ringed that would be their prize! This was actually very hard and I recommend getting a bigger ring because this was just about impossible for the children to get the ring on it. 

 We had a drawing for the adults and for the kids. I bought some carnival tear off tickets and these were handed out to each child and adult when they got there. They would get half of the ticket and the other half would go in the bucket. At the end of the night 5 winners were drawn from the bucket. One adult won the Hillshire Farm sasuage and cheese snack box and the other adult won the Ice Cream Float box. 

 Three kids were picked for their prizes. One kid won the Nestle Nesquick chocolate milk set. Another kid won the Hershey's Smore's box and the other kid won the Snowman Cotton Candy. All the prizes were picked up at Walmart.

I made a free printable Ice Cream cut out sheet for kids. The heart say's, "Thank You Jesus For My Food". This is a fun cut out sheet for small children. Just have the kids cut all the pictures out. Have the piece together the one ice cream cone and then have them glue or tape all the pictures down on colored construction paper. This is a free easy craft for small children. Exodus 11:5-And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.

• Pharaoh Template (printable version)
• Yellow Cake Mix
• Chocolate Rocks
• Honey
• Toothpick
• Tape

Bake your cupcake. When finished baking them let them cool off. Drizzle honey on top of cupcake and add your chocolate rocks on top. Print Pharaoh template off and cut him out. Tape it to a toothpick. Stick it down in cupcake. Use this Pharaoh cupcake to go along with the The 10th Plague of Egypt Death of Firstborn Sunday school lesson.

You can always skip the honey and rocks and just add regular frosting to the cupcake instead. I just thought I would use the rocks cause I had them on hand. I really like baking cupcakes for the kids because they are so easy to make, and don't cost very much.

Easter Tomb Resurrection Cupcakes Jesus Lives Template (Printable Version) Yellow Cake Mix Betty Crocker Sky Blue Cupcake Icing Toothpick Tape Cupcake Wraps By Wilton (optional) Bake your cupcakes. Use some blue Wilton Betty Crocker sky blue frosting on top of the cupcake. Print off Jesus Lives template and cut them out. Tape to a toothpick and stick down in the cupcake. Makes 24 Servings

John 20:5-  And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.

John 20:6- Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,

John 20:7- And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

• 6 Tablespoons   butter or magarine
• 8 cups   miniature marshmallows or 2 pkg. Regular Marshmallows
• 1 mini marshmallow - for Jesus linens
• 12 cups   Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal
• 1 Large Plastic Egg (for mold)-OR you can use small plastic eggs (we used a large plastic egg)

Make your rice krispies . Then stuff a plastic egg with the mix. Spray your hands with non-stick spray and then make a hole in the rice krispies. Add one mini marshmallow in the tomb for Jesus linens that he left behind after he rose from the dead. This has to be the easiest recipe I have ever made. I thought this was going to be a lot of work but it really wasn't. Make sure you pack these down in the eggs real good so they will hold it's shape. Stick in freezer to help speed the setting process up.

Make 1 tomb for each child and take for children's church or Sunday school.
Teach the kids about the resurrection of Jesus for Easter.
This will be a hit!

Paint Recipes

Water-color Recipe

·    6 tablespoons baking soda
·    6 tablespoons cornstarch
·    6 tbsp white vinegar
·    3 teaspoons light corn syrup
·    small containers
·    food coloring

Mix ingredients.  Add small amounts to containers.  Add food coloring to get desired colors.  If the paint dries between uses, just add a few drops of water.

Puff Paint Recipe

·    4 tablespoons white self-rising flour
·    4 tablespoons salt
·    4 teaspoons water
·    food coloring

For a group you might need to make a batch for every color.  This works best with pictures that have large open areas to be painted. Mix all ingredients until smooth.  Dab on paper with a brush or craft stick to fill in an area.  Place in a microwave oven on high for 20 to 30 seconds.  Let cool and display.

You may be a regular plain sheep, but did you know that there are other sheep out there that do not look like you. There are other sheep that are not of the same fold and they need to be brought in to the shepherd. Jesus is coming back soon and he is gathering all his sheep even if they look different. Praise God! He loves all his little sheep. 

They may have different colored hair, funny looking clothes, and other things but Jesus wants them to come to the sheep fold. He is gathering them up for his return. Help Jesus out by talking to other sheep that are different from yourself. Show them a savior that loves them. He is watching you. Show them love and show them Jesus. 

John 10:16  And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Take your baked cupcake and smear frosting on top. Add your sprinkles. Print the Jesus template off and cut it out. Tape to a toothpick and stick down into cupcake. Now you can take it to children's church or Sunday school. These make great snacks for the kids. They get so excited over cupcakes.

 These are just a basic cupcake with sprinkles. When teaching childrens church and Sunday school I have to find things that are simple enough to put together and I have found that kids really love the bible cupcakes. It does not take a skilled person to make them and that is what I like about them.

Teach the kids a lesson on Jesus to go with these Jesus cupcakes.
