Flower Holding A Bible Cut Out Craft For Kids- Sunday School Crafts for Spring or Summer

Flower Holding A Bible Craft Cutout For Kids

I made a Flower Holding A Bible craft for kids to cut out. Have the child cut all three pictures out and then tape the flowers arms onto the flower. This is just an easy fun craft for small kids to do in Sunday school, children's church at home just for fun. I made two different printable templates below. You can pick a black and white one for the kids to color first. Or print the colored template if the kids don't have time to color or don't want to.

Flower Card Craft For Spring For Sunday School "The Flowers Appear On The Earth- Song of Solomon 2:12" (Flower Crafts or Spring Crafts)

Flower Card Craft For Spring For Sunday School

Song of Solomon 2:12  The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;

Supplies
Purple Construction Paper (You can use any color)
Tape
Flower Template- black and white or colored
crayons and markers (If you printed the black and white flower template)
Scissors or Decorative Cutting Scissors

Have the child color the flower and then cut it out. I used decorative cutting scissors in the pictures above to give it a neat look. Have them cut the box of words out too. Then fold a colored piece of construction paper in half and tape or glue the flower and words to the front. Have the child draw a picture of flowers in the inside. This card craft goes with the scripture from Song of Solomon 2:12. It say's, "The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come. Use this card craft for spring time. Teach the kids how God made the seasons and Spring is one of them.

Epson Salt Crafts

 Epson Salt Crafts
  • Small jar
  • Used fabric softener sheets
  • Aluminum pie pan
  • Scissors
  • Bamboo skewers
So, you have finished your keepsake jar and salt pictures.  Now, what to do with the left over salt? Try adding putting some of the salt in a small jar and adding hot water.  Wait a few days to see what crystals form.

A lot of people are fascinated with crystals, many believing them to possess power that can be used for healing and spiritual growth.  Is it okay to be actively involved with crystal healing and crystal power? What advice does the Bible give in this matter?  Crystals certainly are beautiful objects, for they were created by God. Part of God's magnificent heavenly city, the New Jerusalem, will be constructed from crystal. But, like all so called magic, the ability of crystals to heal is false.  Satan wants us to believe in false miracles. All true miracles come from God.

Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

After removing the crystals, a second thing to do with the salts is to pour out the remaining salt water onto a used fabric softener sheet that has been placed in an aluminum pie pan.  Let it dry for a few days.  Tiny crystals will form on the surface.  Cut the softener sheet in various shapes and string it onto a bamboo skewer.  Use it as a plant stake to make an artificial plant give off a wonderful smell like a real plant.

Mother's Day Oatmeal Pie Flower Arrangement

Mother's Day Oatmeal Pie
Flower Arrangement
  • Plastic Knife
  • Flower Template
  • Tape
  • Oatmeal Pie
  • Small flower pot with flowers from dollar store
Just tape a plastic knife to the back of an oatmeal pie and stick down in a cheap flower pot with flowers. This actually came from the dollar tree. It was only a 1.00. Mom's will get a kick out of this Oatmeal Pie Flower Arrangement.

Try making a "Soda Oatmeal Pie Flower Arrangement" instead. Just grab one of mom's favorite soda's and tape the knife to the can with tape. Add a pretty ribbon.

Or try adding more oatmeal pie flowers around the can for a fuller flower arrangement. Mom will love her tasty snack arrangement. Mom don't like oatmeal pies? Try using a different snack cake or candy bars.

Mother's Day Medallion Flowers

Mother’s Day Medallion Flowers
Isa 66:13:  “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem."

  • Paper
  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Crayons or markers
  • Craft stick or bamboo skewers

You can use colored paper or if you have time use white paper and let the children color.  From one sheet of paper, cut as many 2 inch circles as you need.  It takes two circles for each medallion. Have the children draw a picture of the person that will receive the medallion on one circle.  On the other circle write the words, ‘Jesus and I love you.’
Take another sheet of paper and fold it in half the long way.  Fold it in half the long way again so you have four long sections.  Cut the paper apart along the folds.  One sheet makes four medallions.  For each medallion, make accordion folds in one strip.  Cut half inch slits along the edge in the crease of each fold.  Bring the short ends together and glue the edges.  Gently flatten the medallion.  This took some practice, but you will get it.  Using plenty of glue, stick one circle in the center of the medallion on one side.  Hold it down a few seconds to be sure it sticks well.  Turn the medallion over.  Depending on the age of the child, layer a craft stick or a bamboo skewer between the medallion and the other circle.  Once again use plenty of glue.
Tell the children to give the medallion to their mother or a woman they love with a big hug.
Optional:  Fold the fringed edge back and forth to make it more three dimensional.  Use craft foam for the circles.  Add a little glitter to make it sparkle. Add a two inch circle punch to your wish list.

Mother's Day Flower Sponge Craft

Mother's Day
Flower Sponge Gift

  • Red Plastic Cup
  • Green Straw
  • Flower Template (Colored)  (Black & White)
  • Brand New Sponge
  • Tape
  • Scissors
  • Hole Punch
Print out one of the flower templates. Pick the color or black and white. Color it if you picked the black and white one. Cut it out. Fold your flower in half and take the hole punch and put a hole in it. Just put a half of a hole on the edge. Don't put the full hole cause it might be too big. Tape your green straw to the inside of your red cup. Now open your little flower back up and slide it on the straw. Put it on the ridges where the straw bends. Tape the back to hold it in place. Tape your leaves on to the front. Stick your new sponge down in the cup.

Now the kids can give these to their mom's for Mother's Day. The sponge is for washing the dishes or cleaning the counter tops off.
