Jelly Bean Prayer Toilet Paper Roll Craft For Easter

Jelly Bean Prayer
Toilet Paper Roll Craft
  • Toilet Paper Roll Tubes or Cardboard Tubes (I order mine from oriental trading and get 25 rolls for $5.25)
  • Tape
  • Jelly Bean Template- colored or  black and white
  • Scissors
  • 4 very small pieces of colored paper to make arms and legs
Pick out which template you need. We have a black and white one for the kids to color and the colored template is for those who are pressed for time and don't have time for the kids to color.

Have the children color their Jelly Bean pictures and then have them cut all three pictures out. Have them wrap the large square of Jelly Beans around the toilet paper roll and tape it in the back.

Then have them tape the large Jelly Bean to the front. It say's JELLY BEAN PRAYER on the front of it's belly. Add some arms and legs by folding paper accordion style. Tape the Jelly Bean Prayer list to his arms.

You can either tape the list like you see in the first picture where the Jelly Bean is holding the list with both hands or you can do it like you see in the second picture where the Jelly Bean is holding the list with one hand only. The first picture only has arms and bottom picture has arms and legs.

Cut Out Plant Stake Craft

I made a printable Jelly Bean Prayer cross template for the kids to color and cut out. Just have the kids color the cross and the Jelly Beans. There are 8 Jelly Beans so the kids need to use these colors -Red, Yellow, Green, Orange, Black, White, Purple, and Pink. Once they are done coloring the cross and Jelly Beans, have them cut the cross and Jelly Beans out and then glue or tape the Jelly Beans onto the cross.

Then have them tape a large Popsicle stick to the back of the cross and then let them stick it down into a plant. Or you could just leave the popsicle stick off and let them just make the cross. They could even glue the cross down on colored construction paper instead. You could always laminate this if you want it to last.
